Masters of AI was founded by Chris Shellenbarger — 25 years building software, former Principal Engineer at Microsoft (Yammer), serial startup founder, and systems architect who's built platforms serving millions of users.
The idea came from a simple experiment: what happens when you build AI agents that actually run parts of a real business? Not demos. Not prototypes. Production systems handling real operations, real money, real decisions.
The results were clear. Agent systems for SaaS operations, agriculture management across thousands of acres, commercial real estate analysis — each one proved the same thing: a small team with the right agents doesn't just keep up with larger competitors. They outrun them.
That's what Masters of AI does now. We help teams across industries unlock the same kind of force multiplication. Not with slide decks about "AI transformation." By actually building the systems, in your environment, with your team, until it works.

How we think about agents
Most "AI solutions" are just ChatGPT with a fancy wrapper. That's not what we build.
We build agent systems using context engineering — the practice of giving each agent exactly the right information, tools, and guardrails to do its job at expert level. A small model with great context outperforms a frontier model with no context. Every time.
The goal is always the same: take your team's existing expertise and amplify it. Your people know your business better than any AI ever will. Agents handle the grunt work so your team can focus on judgment, relationships, and the things humans are actually best at.
